Location Sales Internship  

At Sinclair Tractor, we pride ourselves on being the destination in Southeast Iowa for agricultural equipment, precision farming, agronomic decision support, NAPA parts and supplies. With thirteen John Deere dealerships, five NAPA parts locations and a Supply Store, we are looking for motivated and talented people to join our team.

Purpose:

To support performance improvement initiatives for the sales team for driving the sale of new and used agricultural, construction and turf equipment. Coordinate the activities of Sales Professionals at your location to maximize customer satisfaction, company profitability and efficiency.  

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Work with Product Line Managers to improve advertising of new and used equipment
• Assist with John Deere inventory audits
• Customer Relations Management projects including customer segmentation data and develop processes and procedures to correct and maintain accurate customer data
• Assist retail customers with purchase of turf and compact equipment
• Assist sales staff on follow up after the sale activities

Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:

• Student in good scholastic standing who is pursuing a degree in ag business, ag sales or analytics
• Outgoing personality with ability to work with a team and individually
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, such as Word and Excel
• Ag equipment knowledge preferred
• Regular and predictable attendance
