Location Manager
Purpose
Responsible for the location achieving its goals. Provides leadership in evaluating, allocating, and managing human, physical and financial resources for the location and its employees. Optimizes the profitable growth of the business, the personal growth of employees, and the satisfaction of customers.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Executes the business plan and achieves financial performance, including sales, budgets and cost control, according to established goals for a location
Develops and maintains a positive relationship with all existing and new customers and resolves any elevated customer issues
Ensures that appropriate communication takes place within and across all departments at the responsible location(s) which may include leading regular department management staff meetings and all employee meetings
Communicates the dealership values, principles, vision, and mission within their location(s)
Communicates with other Location Managers to implement best practices and consistent processes for all departments within the organization
Supports corporate and regional managers in implementing changes in any department within the location
Ensures the successful planning and execution of marketing activities and events
Oversees maintenance, security and a professional appearance of the facility and property for the location
May represent the company for the sale of machinery to key customers as needed
Provides input to the hiring, development and coaching, evaluation, and effectiveness of the management team and other employees within their store
Ensures invoices are valid, accurate and moving through the payables process in a timely manner
Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:
Outstanding communication and relationship building skills
Excellent customer relationship skills
Exhibit high levels of organization, professionalism and team leadership
Ability to analyze and interpret business financials and sales reports
Must maintain a valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record
Commitment to and demonstration of high ethical standards governing professional behavior and interactions
Ability to work independently and exercise excellent judgment in order to reflect the company’s values
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated time management and organizational skills
Great customer service and high level of attention to detail, especially under pressure
Dependability and consistency is a must
Polished, Professional, and Friendly demeanor
Working Conditions & Requirements:
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
Travel as needed
